Just always keep your fridge stocked with alternatives. Control your own fridge and make them eat vegan when they are with you. A vegan cook book helps. I am using a fairly new one and it is amazing enough to make food for vegans adapting meat eaters to awesome cooking..without meat. You can always pre make something like a meat loaf with black beans or just something like apple muffins i have made vegan recently. For a group of people serve vegan apple muffins, I actually made gluten free.
And on the dating; there is a political party for vegans in amsterdam...at least
You could try getting involved in some sort of local group where there are likely to be many vegans; I didn't know any in real life until I started attending get-togethers/work days at a local farm sanctuary. Now I know a bunch of them.
There's also stuff like potlucks, meetup groups, activism groups, veg food fests, etc.
If it's any consolation, most of the vegans I know have the same dilemma... ergo, most of them are single.
It feels sad! (In a way) Because doesn't it feel more of a challenge to educate people nowadays.. ... let alone do that while dating. That would make a really cool craigslist ad to just say Single Male Vegan Looking. Or whatever I think it would stand out and be cool. But alas, craigslist. I am almost sure this would happen: you would get a response from a person who is an omnivore..and just going to tolerate you being vegan and think of you as wacky. But good luck and I could even help making a craigslist & vegan ad. You might get cool replies, there are more forward cities in existence. Maybe I would be surprised
try dating someone that is not vegan. my girlfriend can't get away from meat. but i'm not a raging bitch so i put up with it. it sucks. i got shit from her and the lady checking us out at the grocery store friday. i enjoy my all vegan diet.
I'd not recommend that unless you have some assurance that the person wants to go vegan or something. I get that going vegan once you are in a relationship with another carnist is somehow a different story.
I find a bit disturbing that someone who actively protests against gratuitous pain and death gets a pejorative. Ok, genocidal dictators and other shit can also have spouses, to each hir own, but I don't see how protesting, ragingly, against torturing and killing sentient beings for pleasure can be considered bad IN ANY WAY.
Plus, you get shit from this person??? Seriously, wtf.
"There is no hope. Knowing that humans die untimely, by the millions, simply makes me feel a bit better. If more than, say, 2000 were killed in one go, I could smile. 20000? I might throw a party..."

Lomedin: Learned by chance that Kat Von D is vegan. Didn't have a clue who she was before.

Vegan: I'm on an antinatilist group and only found out about her on that. Had no idea who she was before as never heard of her.

cybernaut: Well, it can be a little hard for me to come here sometimes because of how negative things can get here. I realize there's much to be negative about, but it's still hard for me all the same.
